I have eight years experience building Product and Marketing for growing companies. I have led teams of up to a dozen people and managed various products, projects, and campaigns with budgets ranging from a few thousand to several million dollars. I like creating great user experiences. I like writing copy with punch, and growing brands that let their character hang out a bit. I like steering product roadmaps to a place where customer needs meet business goals.
In 2008 I cofounded Farmscape, now the largest urban farming service. For four years I managed product and brand, growing annual revenue from zero to $1M. Farmscape has created over a thousand gardens for estates, restaurants, and organizations including Oracle, UCLA, LACMA, Naked Juice, The Jonathan Club, AT&T Park, Giants Stadium, and The Getty Center. I helped hone in on product-market fit for a suite of specialized products and services to build and maintain this network of farms across backyards and rooftops in LA and SF.
In 2010 I cofounded Agrisaurus, a precision home gardening app. Built on a python-django stack, Agrisaurus helped users create planting maps and calendars, then track maintenance tasks based on a custom database of crop and climate info. I hired, managed scrum, and led UX design.
